In the matter between Ikorodu United FC Vs. Nnewi United FC on the Match between Ikorodu United FC Vs. Nnewi United FC. The Committee Rules as follows:
FINDING:
In the course of the hearing of the petition between Ikorodu United FC Vs. Nnewi United FC, the representative of Nnewi United FC, Mr Olisa Onuchukwu raised some vital issues, wherein the Committee finds that there is a need for the presence of Player Temitope Alao and Aare Afe Babalola FC.
DECISIONS:
- In view of the above, and pursuant to Articles 109 and 110, of the FIFA Disciplinary Code 2011, the Disciplinary Committee adjourned further hearing to a later date to be communicated to all parties.
- The Committee also resolves that Hearing Notices should be served on all parties.
- The Committee wishes to state that the above decisions are without prejudice to the Right of Appeal.
In the matter between FRSC FC Vs. Kwara United FC on the Match between FRSC FC Vs. Kwara United FC. The Committee Rules as follows:
FINDING:
The Committee finds from the available evidence before it, that FRSC FC were in breach of Rules 16.1, 17.1, 23.1, and 26.1 of the Nigeria National League Rules, 2017.
DECISIONS:
The Disciplinary Committee affirmed the decisions of the Summary Jurisdiction of the Nigeria National League, in part, as follows:
- FRSC FC is hereby fined the sum of One Million Naira Only (N1,000,000) for assault on Match Officials on the field of play. This must be paid on or before 25th May 2017.
- The 7 (Seven) players who took part in the assault on Match Officials shall remain suspended until the conclusion of the first half of the season.
- Coach Onigbinde shall remain suspended until the end of the season.
- FRSC FC shall play its next home Match behind closed doors in line with Rules 27 of the League in completion of the sanction.
- FCT Football Association is hereby advised to live up to its responsibilities at ensuring adequate security of Match Officials, before, during and after every game.
- The Committee wishes to state that the above decisions are without prejudice to the Right of Appeal.
In the matter between Abia Comets FC Vs. Akwa Starlets FC on the Match between Abia Comets FC Vs. Akwa Starlets FC. The Committee Rules as follows:
FINDINGS:
- The Committee, after reviewing the evidence including the video recording of the Match, found that the Protest by Abia Comets lacked Merit in part.
- The Committee observed that the conduct of the Abia Comets Welfare Officer, Mr. Jude Agbala was capable of bringing the game of football to disrepute.
- The Committee also observed from the video recording, that Akwa Starlets FC failed to ensure the proper conduct of its players.
DECISIONS:
- The lone prayer by Abia Comets FC lacks merit and is hereby dismissed.
- The Committee strongly reprimands Abia Comets FC Welfare Officer, Mr Jude Agbala for his conduct and behavior capable of inciting fans against Match Officials which is in breach of Rules 23.1 of NNL Rules, 2017.
- Akwa Starlets FC is also reprimanded for not ensuring proper conduct of their players in breach of Rules 2.5.1 of the Rules.
- The Committee wishes to state that the above decisions are without prejudices to the Right of Appeal.
In the matter between Akwa Starlets FC Vs. Bayelsa United FC on the Match between Akwa Starlets FC Vs. Bayelsa United FC. The Committee Rules as follows:
FINDING:
The Committee finds that the protest was not properly placed before it.
DECISION:
- The Committee declined jurisdiction to hear the protest.
- The Committee wishes to state that the above decisions are without prejudice to the Right of Appeal.
In the matter between Akwa Starlets FC Vs. Warri Wolves FC on the Match between Akwa Starlets FC Vs. Warri Wolves FC .The Committee Rules as follows:
FINDINGS:
- The Committee established that there was a case of assault on Match Officials by the fans of Akwa Starlets FC.
- That Akwa Ibom State Football Association and Akwa Starlets FC did not provide adequate and effective security especially after the Match.
- That as at the time of this hearing, Akwa starlets FC has failed, refused and /or neglected to produce the assailant (s) as directed by the NNL.
DECISIONS:
- Pursuant to Rule 22.18, NNL Rules, 2017, the Committee hereby fines Akwa Starlets Fc the sum of One Million Naira Only (N1,000,000) for assault on Match Officials in breach of Rule 22.9 of the Rules.
- Akwa Starlets is hereby directed to produce the assailants within two (2) weeks from the date of this decision, failure to do so, attracts a further fine of One Million Naira Only (N1,000,000).
- The Akwa Ibom Football Association is hereby warned for the last time to ensure that adequate and effective security is provided before, during and after every Match in its domain.
- The Committee wishes to state that the above decisions are without prejudice to the Right of Appeal.
