The Round of 16 matches of this year’s men’s Federation Cup competition will take place across the country on Wednesday, with only one match on Thursday.

On Wednesday, FC IfeanyiUbah, victors over fellow Glo Premier League side, Bayelsa United in the Round of 32, will be up against FC Taraba, winners against Papilo FC, at the Area 3 Playground in Abuja.

The same venue will 24 hours later, welcome two other Glo Premier League clubs, Kwara United and Enugu Rangers, in what is perhaps the most anticipated game of the Round of 16.

The other all –top division clash, between Nasarawa United and Abia Warriors, is scheduled for the Oshogbo Township Stadium on Wednesday.

The Rojenny Stadium, Oba will play host to the clash between Remo Stars of Ogun State, who eliminated champions Enyimba FC and Glo NPFL side, Lobi Stars. In Makurdi, Heartland FC will battle BJ Foundation from Edo State, which eliminated Sportlight FC of Kaduna in the Round of 32.

Akwa United will see themselves as favourites against Prime FC at Oleh Township Stadium, and El-Kanemi Warriors take the battle to giant –killing Plateau United, which claimed the scalps of both Shooting Stars and Kano Pillars. Their match comes up at the Bako Kontagora Stadium, Minna.
