Football fans are having the best of grassroot football as the NLO Division 3 playoffs gets to the final stage across 8 centres in the Federation.
Pace Setter Football Club of Oyo will trade tackles with Junosa FC of Edo, in the finals of the Nationwide League One Division Three League at the Oshogbo Centre.
Pace Setter and Junosa put up impressive performances to book their place in the final scheduled for Thursday August 24, at the Oshogbo Township Stadium by 2.pm.
To reach the final, Pace Setter defeated Musti FC of Kwara 1-0 courtesy of Ogundele Olatunde, 51 minutes nodding.
Pace Setter FC tops Group A with 6 points, having thrashed Agbana FC of Ekiti, in their first game.
A brace from Idemudia Henry, in the second half inspired Junosa FC to come over 9-man Iganmu FC of Lagos, to top the Group B with 4 points after a goalless draw against Mosimi FC of Ogun in their first game.
However, former Secretary General of Nigeria Football Federation, Chairman Osun Football Association and Special Adviser to the State of Osun Governor on Football Matters, Chief Taiwo Joseph Ogunjobi, will be the Guest of Honour, for the finals.
In Lafia, the final will be between Maitumbi FC Niger and FC Dugabe Niger, while the relegation match is between ISS FC Niger and Paiko Niger.
Football fans in Gombe will be treated to scintillating football when
Jnr Giodano FC will confront Dorayi FC ,both of Kano state to be decided on Thursday morning and the relegation survival will be decided by Bhuzu FC Jos and Ganduje Babes FC Kano.
The final game at the other centres will take place on Friday .
