Young Nigerian businessman Desmond Ezeh on Sunday donated some items to the Flying Eagles at the MPlaza Hotel in Accra.
Ezeh said the donation was his own way of showing his appreciation to the team, who he supported when they won the FIFA U-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates two years ago. “It is a mere coincidence that I am in Ghana and the team is also here,” said Ezeh.
Skipper Musa Muhammed and his assistant Taiwo Awoniyi thanked the businessman for his kind gesture, saying they are galvanized to win their two warm-up match.
Monday’s match against the Black Satellites will played at the Accra Sports Stadium with a second match now slated for Thursday in Tema. Both teams have agreed for a maximum of six substitutions during the matches.
Both Nigeria and Ghana are preparing for next month’s African Youth Championship in Senegal. Ghana are set for a training tour of Turkey by this weekend.
