Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will battle Abuja Football College Friday morning in a test match as they step up preparations for next month’s FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand.
The match will kick off at 7am inside the mainbowl of the Abuja National Stadium.
In the meantime, Flying Eagles coach Manu Garba has disclosed Enyimba midfielder Kingsley Sokari is expected to join the team’s training camp in Abuja immediately after his team’s league match at FC Taraba on Wednesday.
Sokari is the only player yet to join the squad in Abuja.
Injury-hit Musa Yahaya and Chidera Ezeh have trained fully with the main squad while the team’s physiotherapist has supervised their full rehabilitation.
The squad will begin their full medical examination on Thursday morning, officials further disclosed.
The Flying Eagles will begin their World Cup campaign on June 1 against Brazil.
